The Depot Charging Scheme is the single largest subsidy for fleet electrification in UK history. ChargeMyDepot handles everything — from application to installation to intelligent charging.
We've assembled a consortium of leading charger manufacturers and certified installers to deliver your depot infrastructure.
The regulatory, financial, and competitive landscape has permanently shifted. The question is not if you electrify, but how fast.
The Government's £170M Depot Charging Scheme funds up to 70% of EV charging infrastructure costs at commercial fleet depots. You pay 30%. The taxpayer pays the rest.
Whether you operate a fleet depot or manufacture chargers & install infrastructure, there's a seat at the table.
We assess your depot, fleet size, charging needs, grid capacity, and electrification timeline. Free consultation, no obligation.
We complete all 6 mandatory templates, technical workbooks, installer quotes, and delivery plan. Staged payment structure agreed.
We submit and manage Stage 1 and Stage 2 end-to-end. You focus on running your fleet.
Hardware installed, emPACT deployed, SmartFlex activated, carbon credit programme initiated. Revenue from day one.
Typical fleet depot: 20 AC + 4 DC chargers | 50 electric vans + 10 eHGVs

ChargeMyDepot coordinates the end-to-end proposition and brings fleet operators to the table. Powered by Electric Miles smart charging technology.
The DCS has specific requirements. If you tick these boxes, you qualify for up to £1M in government funding.
Must be registered and operating in the UK. Organisation and vehicle fleet must have been operating for at least 1 year at time of application.
Must own or lease one or more UK depots. If leased, landlord consent is required for chargepoint installation.
Fleet must include, or plan to include, at least one battery electric van, HGV or coach. Application must quantify the impact on EV charging needs.
A senior leader must have approved the infrastructure proposal.
Must agree to ongoing monitoring and evaluation activities, including physical site audits and visits.
Cannot apply for or receive similar government funding for the same activities.
Commercial vehicles must be the primary users of the funded infrastructure.
All funded infrastructure must be installed and operational by 31 March 2027 (Window 1). No extensions.
Our grant specialists will assess your eligibility in a free 15-minute call. We've reviewed hundreds of fleet operations against DCS criteria — we'll tell you exactly where you stand.

Window 1 is assessed strictly first-come, first-served. When the £28M is gone, it's gone.

Per van, based on your inputs
Estimates based on UK market averages. Actual savings depend on usage, tariffs, and location. Depot charging at £0.22/kWh assumed.
Unplanned downtime costs £1,000/day per vehicle. Electric Miles' emPACT platform is the intelligence layer behind every ChargeMyDepot installation — 20,000+ chargers, 97.9% uptime.
Without intelligent orchestration, depot managers face daily emergencies that drain time, money, and operational capacity.
75% of managers face daily crises from fragmented tools and disconnected systems
Operational ChaosChargers ignore vehicles, crews, and energy costs — operating in isolation
15% Wasted EnergySpreadsheets fail to account for live grid prices, vehicle priority, or demand spikes
£18k/yr Missed Savings3+ hours/day lost to coordination, fault chasing, and manual charge scheduling
£50k/yr Labour WasteemPACT turns fragmented depot operations into a single, intelligent orchestration layer
A single command dashboard for your entire charging estate. Real-time visibility across every bay, vehicle, and energy flow — from tablet to mobile.
All assets. One pane of glass. The emPACT Fleet Orchestration Platform.
Real-time battery levels and departure readiness status for every vehicle in your fleet
Automated bay allocation, fault detection, and smart charge management with live status
Integrated energy monitoring for solar, battery storage, and grid connections
Predictive maintenance alerts and automated service ticket generation
Balances 50+ variables — tariffs, battery health, space — in seconds for optimal charging
Automated reporting, audit trail, and monitoring data ready for government review
Simulates scenarios like storms and depot expansions before real-world execution
Authentication, charge session tracking, and driver-specific scheduling and reporting
Resolves conflicts automatically. “Truck #203 needs 80% charge, but Bay 7 is dead → auto-reroute to Bay 4 + trigger repair.”
Balances 50+ variables — tariffs, battery health, departure times, grid constraints — to schedule optimal charging in seconds.
Simulates scenarios like storms and depot expansions before real-world execution. Digital twin of your entire charging estate.
“We don't sell software. We sell operational certainty.”The emPACT Advantage
Your depot doesn't just save money — it generates new revenue streams
We aggregate your depot's flexible demand and trade with DSOs and NESO. You get paid for shifting when you charge — zero impact on fleet operations.
Every diesel mile replaced by electric generates verified carbon savings. Verra-accredited monetisation turns your fleet's emissions reductions into tradeable credits.
The government is offering to pay 70% of your charging infrastructure. The only question is: do you act now, or too late?
